Basketball Recap: Columbia Heights Takes a Loss

Columbia Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the DeLaSalle Islanders and fell 107-44. While losing is never fun, the Hylanders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Islanders are ranked tenth).

Columbia Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for DeLaSalle, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kennedy the next time they take the court. DeLaSalle will head out to face Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Columbia Heights will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st.
