Volleyball Recap: Centura Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Centura entered their tilt with Alma on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cardinals.

Centura walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 25-12.

Centura's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taya Taukiuvea, who had 27 kills. Those 27 kills gave Taukiuvea a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Belle Taukiuvea, who had 48 assists and one block.

Centura's win bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Alma, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-17.

Centura didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Hershey on the 29th. Alma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
