Soccer Recap: Pulaski County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Taylor County on Tuesday, Pulaski County came back down to earth. The Maroons fell just short of the North Laurel Jaguars by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Pulaski County were not able to make up for their defeat to North Laurel from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Pulaski County's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5-2. As for North Laurel, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Pulaski County didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Rockcastle County on the 4th. North Laurel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
