Softball Recap: Sneads Comes Up Short

Sneads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Chipley Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 back in February.

Sneads' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Chipley, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Sneads will challenge Marianna at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sneads is facing Marianna at the right time seeing as Marianna is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Chipley, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Chipley Tigers duke it out with Paxton Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
