Baseball Preview: Eastern Montgomery Mustangs vs. Giles Spartans
The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Giles Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern Montgomery will be strutting in after a victory while Giles will be coming in after a loss.
Last Thursday, Eastern Montgomery got the win against Roanoke Catholic by a conclusive 17-6. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Celtics recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Giles lost 10-1 to Grayson County on Friday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Giles saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Mills, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Eastern Montgomery now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Giles, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1.
