Volleyball Recap: Nolensville Makes It 12 in a Row at Home + How To Watch

Nolensville's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Independence Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Nolensville might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Independence scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Jaycie Stitt, who had nine digs and two aces. What's more, she posted five assists, the most she's had over her last nine games. Sadie Deming was another key player, getting nine digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Nolensville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matchups.

Nolensville's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Independence, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3.
