Basketball Recap: Mill River Comes Up Short

Mill River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost to the Arlington Memorial Eagles on the road by a 58-42 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minutemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-44 on January 3rd.

Mill River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Arlington Memorial, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mill River will challenge Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Arlington Memorial, they will face off against Proctor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Arlington Memorial's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Proctor has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
