Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Edgewood couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 59-58 to the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their 27-game winning streak.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 27-2. As for Wauwatosa East, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.
