Volleyball Recap: CORE Butte Takes a Loss + How To Watch

CORE Butte lost against Hamilton last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lynx fell 2-0 to the Braves. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

CORE Butte was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 15 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Jordyn Rodgers, who had five aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matchups. Hannah Bonesio also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

CORE Butte's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hamilton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

CORE Butte didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Oroville on the 6th. As for Hamilton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Gridley on the 6th.
