Volleyball Recap: Ravenscroft Comes Up Short

Ravenscroft was the 3-1 winner over North Raleigh Christian Academy when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Ravens fell 3-1 to the Knights on Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Ravenscroft lost, don't look at Maddie Fanning. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and three assists. Fanning has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Ravenscroft's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Ravenscroft nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
