Union Area was forced to take a big loss against Western Beaver on Monday, they got the better of them on Thursday. The Scotties came out on top against the Golden Beavers by a score of 6-1. This was a revenge game for the Scotties: when they faced off against the Golden Beavers on Monday, they had to take a 10-2 defeat.

Union Area's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Western Beaver, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union Area will welcome Aquinas Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Scotties are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Western Beaver, they will square off against South Side at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
