Volleyball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Atlantic Christian Sharks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Giants of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-12.

Atlantic Christian found their leader in sophomore Jamaury Augustin, who had six digs and four aces. Those six digs gave Augustin a new career-high.

Sports Leadership & Management's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Atlantic Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sports Leadership & Management will square off against American Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Atlantic Christian, they will face off against Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
