Walsingham Academy hasn't had much luck against Benedictine recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Cadets at 4:30 p.m. Walsingham Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Walsingham Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Norfolk Collegiate 10-0. Considering the Trojans have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Drew Weddington made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Walsingham Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-8-1. As for Benedictine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14-1 record this season.
