Baseball Recap: Hargrave Wins Going Away Against Livingston

Hargrave never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Livingston Lions with a sharp 10-0 win. The Falcons have beaten the Lions the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

Logan Gruber looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Bryce Nixon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Zane Bailey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Hargrave's record is now 16-8-2. As for Livingston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16-2.
