Soccer Game Preview: Rogers vs. Union

The Rogers Mountaineers are taking a road trip to square off against the Union Redhawks at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Rogers didn't have quite enough to beat Fayetteville and fell 3-2. Rogers have struggled against Fayetteville recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Union fell victim to Southeast and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Rogers came up short against Union when the teams last played back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Mountaineers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
