Columbus North kept a clean sheet against Franklin Community on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Grizzly Cubs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Columbus North also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Avery Baker and Lexi Roukas scored both of Columbus North's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The win made it two in a row for Columbus North and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Franklin Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Columbus North wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, an 8-0 win against Columbus East on the 27th. Franklin Community has also already played their next game (against Decatur Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
