Volleyball Recap: Alcott Takes a Loss

Alcott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Prosser Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

While Alcott ultimately came up short, they really made Prosser work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-14.

Prosser was led to victory by Micah Kholodenko and Mar'Coby Dalton. Kholodenko had five digs and one block, while Dalton had eight kills. Kholodenko is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 21 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Alcott's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Prosser, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-7.

Alcott wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Roosevelt on the 7th. As for Prosser, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Northside on the 3rd.
