Softball Recap: Mountainside Comes Up Short

Mountainside fell victim to Salome and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Frogs, falling 20-0. The Wolves have struggled against the Frogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Mountainside's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Salome, their win bumped their record up to 4-10-1.

Looking ahead, Mountainside will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Kingman Academy at 4:30 p.m. The Wolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Salome, they will head out on the road to square off against San Pasqual Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
