Basketball Recap: Red Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Red Boiling Springs played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Monroe County Falcons and fell 68-22. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost five in a row.

Red Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Monroe County, the victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Red Boiling Springs will welcome Boyd Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 72.56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Monroe County, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Clinton County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
