The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Waldorf 81-14 at home. Crystal Springs Uplands' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Crystal Springs Uplands found their leader in underclassman Marcus Kueh, who scored 19 points along with two steals. That's the first time this season that Kueh scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianni Chung, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Crystal Springs Uplands' win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Waldorf, they bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Crystal Springs Uplands won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Priory at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Priory is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.6 points per game. Waldorf does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
