Dresden waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Lake County Falcons with a sharp 16-1 victory. Considering the Lions have won eight matchups by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dresden pushed their record up to 10-11 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Lake County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Dresden is taking a road trip to take on Union City at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake County, they will be playing at home against Liberty Tech Magnet at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
