Volleyball Recap: Kentridge Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kentridge lost against Tahoma on October 1st and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chargers came up short against the Bears, falling 3-0. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Kentridge was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Tahoma's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-23.

Makana (Mak) Lum-Lung paced Kentridge's offense, picking up nine kills. Lum-Lung got some help from Tofi Luuga and her nine assists.

Among those leading the charge was Lyla Battey, who had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six matches. Abby Fechser also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Kentridge's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tahoma, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

Kentridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Auburn Riverside on the 29th.
