Fullerton is on a 12-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Millikan is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Indians will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Fullerton made easy work of Segerstrom and carried off a 9-1 win.

Fullerton let Kaylee Mathews and Andrea Montes De Oca run wild. Mathews went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI, while Montes De Oca went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Mathews a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ariel Enriquez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.
Fullerton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in eight consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millikan). They never let Cabrillo get on the board and left with a 22-0 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rams with their most commanding win of the season.
Riley McAndrew and Jade Torres made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, McAndrew pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Torres pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. McAndrew has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. At bat, McAndrew went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs, while Torres went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Dobrovolny was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Cisneros, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
Millikan's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Fullerton, their victory bumped their record up to 24-2.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Fullerton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .369. However, it's not like Millikan struggles in that department as they've averaged .371. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
