Softball Recap: Era Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Era's offense. They came up short against the Bryson Cowboys on Thursday, falling 14-0. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cowboys apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Era and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Bryson, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Era will be taking part in a tournament against Collinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bryson, they will face off against Paradise at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Cowboys' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
