Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eads walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Cheyenne Wells Tigers on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Adyn Hough spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Karsten Buller was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Weston Mitchek was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Eads' record is now 13-3. As for Cheyenne Wells, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
