Basketball Recap: Greeley Triumphs

Greeley proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 50) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Brewster Bears 53-51. This was payback for the Quakers, who suffered a 54-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Greeley's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Brewster, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Greeley will venture away from home to take on Mount Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brewster, they will welcome Mahopac at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
