Pontotoc extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Sara Campos. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Starkville Yellowjackets on Monday with plenty of help from Campos, who had 11 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played.

While Pontotoc might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Starkville scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Starkville still got an impressive performance from Tatum Still, who had ten digs and two aces.

Pontotoc now has a winning record of 15-14-1. As for Starkville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-24-1 record this season.

Pontotoc didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Columbus on the 30th. As for Starkville, after both having extra time off, they and Lewisburg will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th.
