The Clippers were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than 31 points in the five contests prior), but the Bulldogs' defense proved too tough.

Dalton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trey Leek, who threw for 206 yards and three TDs on perfect 11-for-11 passing, and also punched in one score on the ground. Jackson Oswald helped Leek out on the ground, picking up 55 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
