Volleyball Recap: Hughson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hughson lost against Escalon back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Hughson actually scored more points across those five sets (106-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Hughson's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Escalon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Hughson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Clayton Valley Charter on the 11th. As for Escalon, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Weston Ranch on the 11th.
