Baseball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Christian Academy fell victim to Tri-Village and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Emmanuel Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keagan Page, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Brock Rue also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Emmanuel Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Tri-Village, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian Academy will host Dayton Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The WARRIORS will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tri-Village, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Bradford at 5:00 p.m. The Patriots are facing the Railroaders at the right time seeing as the Railroaders are stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
