Football Recap: Colville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Colville took a 26-point loss the last time they faced off against Omak, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crimson Hawks had just enough and edged out the Pioneers 25-22. The Crimson Hawks' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Brock Benson looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 208 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 50 yards and one TD. A healthy portion of Benson's aerial production (87 yards to be exact) went to Bridger Lewis.

When it comes to explaining why Omak lost on Friday, don't look at Payton Smith. Despite the final result, he rushed for 75 yards and a pair of scores.

Colville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Omak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colville will challenge Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Crimson Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Omak, they will face off against Clarkston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
