Baseball Recap: North Charleston Comes Up Short

North Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins, falling 17-1.

North Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Orangeburg-Wilkinson will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Edisto at 6:00 p.m. North Charleston will be paying especially close attention to the Bruins' match: after the Bruins faces off against the Cougars, they'll take on North Charleston again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
