Mayfield extended their road winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Isobella Munker. The Trojans put the hurt on the Silver Fighting Colts with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday thanks in part to Munker, who had 21 assists and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While Mayfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.

Mayfield's record now sits at 10-3. As for Silver, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mayfield will host Las Cruces at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Silver, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hot Springs at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
