Volleyball Recap: Sierra Vista's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

If Sierra Vista was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of El Monte on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Webb Schools Gauls on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dons of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 18-25, 25-20.

Alexandra Wang had a dynamite game For The Webb Schools., getting 16 digs and six aces. Those 16 digs gave Wang a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gianna Rabida, who had 12 digs and three aces.
