Soccer Recap: Bishop Walsh Takes a Loss

Bishop Walsh managed to keep up with Mountain Ridge until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Spartans lost 5-1 to the Miners. Bishop Walsh haven't had much luck with Mountain Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bishop Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Mountain Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Bishop Walsh will take on Keyser at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain Ridge, they will head out to square off against Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
