Football Recap: Titus Kaeka's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Steilacoom over Orting + How To Watch

If Steilacoom was riding high fresh off their 34-12 takedown of Clover Park last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sentinels fell 35-26 to the Orting Cardinals on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Sentinels, who until this contest were averaging 11.8 points allowed.

Several Sentinels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Titus Kaeka, who threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Another receiver making a difference was Jaleo Johnson, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Steilacoom fell to 4-1. As for Orting, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Steilacoom will host Franklin Pierce at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sentinels will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Orting, they will head out to take on Foss at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
