Basketball Recap: Galloway Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Ryan Levin and Justin 'JJ' Page

After flying high against Fulton Science Academy last Saturday, Galloway came back down to earth. The Galloway Scots fell to the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots 64-59. The Scots have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Galloway's loss on Tuesday came despite strong showings from Justin 'JJ' Page and Ryan Levin. Page went 9 of 18 en route to 26 points and eight rebounds, while Levin went 6 for 15 on his way to 19 points and five assists. The match was Page's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Zach Graves was another key player, putting up two points and five boards.

Galloway's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-18.

Galloway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 82-50 loss against Mount Vernon on the 6th. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-46 victory against Atlanta International on the 7th.
