Basketball Game Preview: Green Tech Eagles vs. Central Cobras

Two dominant guards in Ramere Brown and Joseph Gayle are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Green Tech Eagles and the Central Cobras will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Green Tech, who comes in off a win.

Last Sunday, Green Tech sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 48-45 victory over Bishop Grimes. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Central's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 65-47 bruising from Cardinal Gibbons. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Chiefs are ranked 23rd).

Green Tech now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.
