Baseball Recap: Redding Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chester last Tuesday, Redding Christian came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Los Molinos Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since March 16, 2024.

Redding Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Los Molinos, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redding Christian will square off against Chester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Los Molinos, they will welcome Trinity at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Wolves will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
