Amari Clemons Delivers Electric Effort Vs North Bay Haven Academy
Amari Clemons's big game helped extend Marianna's winning streak to seven on Friday. Clemons was unstoppable, rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Marianna's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Clemons and Marianna will welcome Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jaleel Reed Delivers Best Effort of Season
Jaleel Reed produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Rutherford to the win on Friday. Reed rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 178 yards and a touchdown on only 16 passes. His longest rush was for an impressive 51 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Rutherford moved to 1-6 with that win, which also ended their eight-game losing streak. Reed and Rutherford will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Rutherford's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Chaz'Ton Scott. Scott turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Marianna Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Rj Mayes
Marianna picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Rj Mayes. Mayes did his part (and then some), throwing for 175 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes for the 'W'.
For the year, Mayes has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 165.6 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six passing touchdowns.
