Shawnee had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lima Senior Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Shawnee took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-4.

Karleigh Hutchins paced Shawnee's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hutchins got some help from Chelsea Burkholder and her 28 assists. Burkholder was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Shawnee's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Lima Senior, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-12.

Shawnee has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Defiance on the 20th. Lima Senior does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
