Basketball Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Lynbrook lost against Cupertino back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lynbrook Vikings fell 32-25 to the Cupertino Pioneers. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cupertino was led to victory by Houma Yoshimochi and Nathan Crawford. Yoshimochi posted ten points, while Crawford had ten points and five rebounds. That's the most points Yoshimochi has posted since back in December of 2023.

Lynbrook is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6. As for Cupertino, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Lynbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-60 win against Branham on the 18th. As for Cupertino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 49-32 loss against Monta Vista on the 22nd.
