Soccer Recap: St. Albans Takes a Loss

St. Albans lost against Capital back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Dragons lost 6-2 to the Cougars. Things were pretty much settled by the half as St. Albans were already down 4-0.

Mallory Fallecker and Ella Lane scored both of St. Albans' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Albans and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Capital, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. St. Albans will take on rival Huntington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Capital is set to face off against their familiar foe Hurricane at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
