Volleyball Recap: Provo Has No Trouble Against Lehi

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Desert Hills, Provo was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lehi Pioneers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Provo found their leader in freshman Lexi Carter, who had 11 digs. Carter is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Lehi lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Paige Wakumoto, who had 13 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Aftyn Hurst, who had ten digs.

Provo now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Lehi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-2.

Coincidentally, Provo and Lehi will both be playing Brighton the next time they take the court. The Pioneers will head out to face the Bengals at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
