Softball Game Preview: Western Reserve Blue Devils vs. Springfield Tigers

For the second straight game, Western Reserve will face off against Springfield. The Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Reserve has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 3.

Western Reserve came up short against Springfield on Monday, falling 15-1.

Western Reserve saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Averie Hendon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Isbelle Moran also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Springfield and bumps their season record up to 10-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Western Reserve, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
