Somerset won against Devine last Tuesday with 57 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Somerset Bulldogs walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Pearsall Mavericks. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Somerset pushed their record up to 21-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Pearsall, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-9.

Coincidentally, Somerset and Pearsall will both be playing Floresville the next time they take the court. Somerset will head out to face Floresville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pearsall will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
