Volleyball Recap: Meyer Comes Up Short

Meyer lost against Crawford back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ravens lost 3-0 to the Pirates.

Meyer was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Crawford work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24, 25-13.

Averi Bolgiano was a one-woman wrecking crew For Crawford. as she had 15 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Bolgiano has posted over her last six matchups.

Meyer has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Crawford, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-15 record this season.

Meyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Moody on the 26th. As for Crawford, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Valley Mills on the 26th.
