Reed-Custer gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders 55-24. The Comets have beaten the Crusaders the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Crusaders has come to flipping the script.

Alyssa Wollenzien had an outrageously good game as she posted 22 points and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Morgan Toler, who had eight points in addition to nine boards and three steals.

Coincidentally, Reed-Custer and Grace Christian Academy will both be playing Grant Park the next time they take the court. The Comets will host the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
