Softball Recap: Tumwater Thunderbirds vs. Timberline Blazers
Timberline typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Tumwater proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Blazers. The Thunderbirds have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blazers, too.

Sarah Stevens was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played.
