Mauldin won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mavericks beat the Rams by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Mauldin were the better team in the second half.

Aiden Goldy and Everette Bostick scored both of Mauldin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Mauldin's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Hillcrest, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12.
